prototypes!!!

Here are the prototypes for B & J's wedding invitation 'suite'! What do you think??

Edit: I added the choices for the bandeau wrap. The tags are separate from the invitation; does it lend the tags a sort of bookmark feel?

And here are some choices to make about the bandeau wrap. I know B likes the embossed look it gives. The top paper *is* the actual paper to be used; metallic orange. We'll go with the notch to keep it together (easily taken apart) and then her and J just need to decide if they want to the Damask or Writing design. =)

Oh and the wax on the bookmark tag set will be orange wax.

Gathering Ideas...

Alright, this is a post for my friend B just so I can show her some style of Wedding Invitations.

I'm picturing:

• the cardstock base will be white or ivory cream
• printed grey text
• accent elements in orange OR orange & grey

ETA: Jonah likes the 'steampunk' feel...but lighter. I'm thinking antiqued edges...seal or sticker... just musing here. =)

I made this card for Peggy from PaperWorksCo. This weekend she'll be taking part in the Run for the Cure, in support of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. After a busy August, I just wanna *stamp*!

Well, I'm back from my adventurous travels to Toronto, Niagara Falls & Nürnberg! I was so busy working and hanging out with my lil' German cousin that I didn't do much stamping in August. One of the 1st things I did when I got back yesterday was to stamp! Although I must say, I helped her make 2 cards, but forgot to take pics of them.


I made these 2 cards using a couple of stamps from PaperWorks Co's Aqua Amigos stamp set and PWCO's July PaperCards kit, which featured Basic Grey's Lime Rickey 6X6 collection. The stamps are unmounted, that is they're made of rubber and come cut and mounted on that grey cling foam.

I just *love* this company because the service is *excellent* and they're Canadian, so I feel at ease with the prices and the S&H and Peggy's prices are *very* reasonable! Her service is so good, I feel like it's one of my LSS (local scrapbook/stamp shops), even though she's in Alberta.
